Thinking the Unthinkable: The 2023 Long-Term Care Emergency Management Conference and Community-Wide Exercise

A Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program compliant interactive discussion-based (facilitated tabletop) exercise that reinforces the principles of the incident command system and comprehensive emergency management planning in the long-term care environment. The exercise will meet or exceed the CMS requirements for a community-wide discussion-based exercise. A hot wash will be conducted and an After-Action Report/Improvement Plan document the experience and providing recommendations will be made.
